### Watch your computer

On Mac

Open **Speed**in Basic, or**Monitor** in Advanced. Tabs include CPU, Memory, Disk, Network, GPU, Batteries, Temperature, Sound and Bluetooth.

On Windows and Linux

Open **Speed**. Tabs:**Overview**,**CPU**,**Memory**,**Disk**,**Network**,**GPU**,**Batteries**and**Hardware**.**Apps running now** is a separate page.

### Batteries

**Batteries** shows charge and health, plus Bluetooth devices that report a battery.

On Mac

On Apple silicon Macs you can set a charge limit in Settings → **Monitoring**. It holds only while ByteSweep runs.

On Windows

The **Charge limit** card tells you where to look. ByteSweep doesn't set a limit on Windows.

On Mac

### Fans

In **Temperature**, the**Fans**card has**Automatic**and**Manual**. A speed you set lasts only while ByteSweep is open: every fan goes back to automatic when you quit, when the Mac sleeps and when it restarts.

### Sleep

**Sleep**shows**Why did my Mac wake up?**, offers**Fixes**with**Apply**, and has**Travel Mode**. Changes need one permission, in Settings →**Privacy**.
