### Organize once

1. Open **Organize a folder**.
2. Choose **Downloads**,**Desktop**,**Documents**, or choose a folder.
3. Pick a style: **By kind**,**By date**,**Kind, then date**or**By place**.
4. Turn on **Also sort files inside folders** if you want that.
5. Check the preview and press **Organize**.

### By place

Photos and videos go in one folder per trip, named after the town where they were taken. Everything else goes by kind. Town names come from a list inside the app, so nothing goes online.

### Keep it organized

Turn on **Keep Downloads organized** (the name follows your folder). It runs with [Check automatically](https://bytesweep.app/docs/learn/automatic.html) and needs a licence.

### Undo it

Open **Undo & history**and press**Put back where they were**. Files return, and the folders ByteSweep made are removed.
