## View and clean your phone

Look through your phone on the big screen. The phone stays in charge.

### Connect

1. On the phone, open Bytesweep and go to **Send to Devices**, on the same Wi-Fi.
2. On the computer, open **View your phone**.
3. On the phone, press **Allow**. A new device shows a code first: allow only if it matches.

If nobody answers in 2 minutes, it counts as no.

### Clean your phone

**Clean your phone** shows the phone's last scan. If it's empty, run a scan on the phone first.

Press **Delete from phone**, then confirm on the phone. Deletes count against the phone's [free allowance](https://bytesweep.app/docs/phone/free.html).

### What stays on the computer

On Mac

Nothing. ByteSweep keeps no copy.

On Windows and Linux

Nothing kept. A video you play is copied to a temporary file while it plays.

Items kept only in iCloud or Google Photos may not open.
