## Remove ByteSweep

Deactivate your licence first if you plan to use it on another computer.

Show me on

On Mac

1. Put back anything you want from **Undo & history**.
2. Quit ByteSweep.
3. Drag it from Applications to the Trash.

Its data is in `~/Library/Application Support/Bytesweep/`. Delete that folder to remove it too.

On Windows

1. Open Windows Settings → Apps.
2. Uninstall ByteSweep.

Its data is in `%LOCALAPPDATA%\ByteSweep`. Settings → **Advanced**→**Data folder** opens it.

On Linux

Remove it with your package manager, or delete the AppImage.

sudo apt remove bytesweep
```

Its data stays in `~/.local/share/ByteSweep`. Delete that folder to remove it too.
