Bytesweep 2.0 is one universal download for Apple silicon and Intel Macs on macOS 14 or later.
Linux, Windows and iPhone

One licence per computer, Mac or Windows. Buying for a team or several computers? Pick how many: each licence comes with its own key.
How do I activate my licence?
- Install Bytesweep
Skip this if you already have Bytesweep installed.
- Open Bytesweep and choose Licence
In Bytesweep 2.0 for Mac it is in Settings (⌘,). In Bytesweep 1.x it is in the sidebar and under the app menu.
- Paste the key and choose Activate
Each key activates one computer. Bought several? Use a different key on each computer.
How do I move a licence to another computer?
Open Bytesweep, go to Licence, paste the key. It covers this computer; deactivate it here to move it to another.

I can't find my licence key.
If you have already bought Bytesweep, your key is in your email — search for Dodo Payments.
Does my 1.x key work in Bytesweep 2.0?
Bytesweep 2.0 for Mac is a new, native Swift app for Apple silicon and Intel Macs on macOS 14 Sonoma or later. Your 1.x licence key activates it.
Refunds
Not happy? Reply to the receipt email within 14 days for a full refund. See the refund policy.
- Yes, within 14 days, no questions asked. Reply to your receipt email or write to support.
- We'll deactivate the license and issue the refund through Dodo Payments, usually within 2 business days. It can take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement depending on your bank.
