Bytesweep 1.1.1: The app tells you when a new version exists
A once-a-day version check that sends nothing about you, with an off switch.
New
- Update notice. Once a day the app fetches the same small version file the website serves, compares it to the version you are running, and tells you if a newer one exists. It sends no key, no device name and nothing about your files, and it never installs anything on its own. Turn it off in Settings; Check now still works when it is off.
Fixed
- The version number in the website's structured data had been stuck at 1.0.0.
