Bytesweep 1.2.0: Three things the app knew but could not tell you
Leftovers from deleted apps, drop a folder to scan it, and what grew since your last scan.
New
- Leftovers. Applications → Leftovers lists the settings, caches and containers left behind by apps that are no longer installed. Nothing is pre-selected, a folder only counts once nothing in it has changed for 90 days (adjustable), and every path is shown before anything moves.
- Drop a folder on the window to scan it. Dropping a file scans the folder it lives in.
- Since your last scan. Every scan leaves an automatic marker, so the next time you look, Snapshots opens with what grew and where, without you having to save a snapshot first.
Changed
- The product tour on the website is available in fourteen languages.
